Bring aviation to Minecraft Bedrock with the Planes Add-On, a lightweight modification that lets you craft and fly wooden and copper aircraft. Each plane is made using in-game materials and supports oxidation, waxing, and a new hot air balloon variant.
The Planes Add-On introduces fully functional wooden and copper aircraft that you can craft directly in Minecraft Bedrock. Each plane is built from existing materials, making it survival-friendly and easy to integrate into any world.
Copper planes behave just like copper blocks: they oxidize over time, can be waxed with honeycombs to preserve their color, or restored using an axe. Wooden planes follow their respective wood types, including a special bamboo variant.
Crafting Overview
To begin crafting aircraft, players must first create the Plane Engine, the essential component for all planes.
Wooden Planes
- Use stripped logs and wooden planks depending on the wood type.
- For bamboo variants, use stripped bamboo blocks and bamboo planks.
Copper Planes
- Place the engine in the center and surround it with copper blocks or oxidized copper for their respective variants.
- Copper aircraft naturally oxidize between 900–3600 seconds, and players can wax or clean them like any copper-based block.
New Additions – Version 1.0.1
A Hot Air Balloon has been added, crafted using wool, wooden planks, and leads. It offers a unique way to travel and adds more variety to the addon’s aviation theme.
